Zeyus Media Is the video production company of videographer and film maker Andrew Wildey, specialising in music, documentary and events. Since 2012 Zeyus Media has produced videos for renowned musicians, music labels, award winning legacy projects, start-up brands and international events including Glastonbury Festival with work featuring on BBC and ITV and numerous music outlets.

Offering a full service from concept to production and beyond, Zeyus Media provides unique and original video production services with the same level of artistry and professionalism afforded to both public and private clients alike. Andrew Wildey

When I was a kid I had one of those brown plastic Fisher Price cassette recorders. I’d just sit there all day making my own “radio shows”. Storytelling through media has been my thing ever since. In the early 2000s I had a stint in the music industry as a distributor, promoter and DJ within London’s dance music scene whilst also working as a runner at several of the cities top post-production facilities. I then graduated with a BA(hons) in Creative Music Technology where, being a kid of the MTV generation, I specialised in the relationship between visuals and sound as well as concepts like synesthesia. I then followed that up with a CIM Professional Certificate in Marketing whilst working freelance in audio production.

In 2012 I launched a health a wellbeing media channel for which I produced over 200 video interviews, reviews and reports. This led me in 2017 to break off to focus exclusively on video production and have since gone on to work with musicians, record labels and music promoters to event organisers and start-ups.

My aim, for any project, regardless of scale, is to see how far we can go with an idea. There always needs to be that special little something that takes it that one extra level up and makes it unique. Generic is just not an option. To find that untapped magic, create works of art and tell stories that move and inspire.

Services

Pre-Production

Regardless of size or scale – in order to tell a story, the first and most vital step is to understand what it’s all about. Who are the players, where is it set, what is the scenario? From this initial idea is then developed a concept of how it will be realised through choice of lighting, tone, angles, edits, colour, effects, graphics/titles, sound and music. Filming

Zeyus Media films exclusively on the Sony Alpha camera range offering full-frame sensors for exceptional performance even in low light conditions, 4K resolution, frame rates up 100fps and 10-bit colour. Additionally we can provide field monitors, waterproof action cameras, mobile lighting, professional multi-channel, 32-bit audio recording as well as shoulder rigs and motorised sliders and gimbals to deliver butter smooth shake free footage (more)

Drone Footage

For a sweeping cinematic look the DJI Mavic 2 Pro features a Hasselblad lens with a 1 inch sensor for superior dynamic range. The drone offers a range of intelligent flight and subject tracking modes consistently achieving complex dynamic shots each and every time (demo)

Video Post-Production

The edit plays a huge role in the story telling process as it takes the captured footage and then dictates the pace and tone of the final piece. Shots become sequences, then scenes and chapters aided by the creative use of effects, titles/graphics and transitions. The project is finally colour graded to achieve colour balance and make full use of the optical range to achieve the desired look (more)

Audio Post-Production

Noise reduction, compression and EQ applied in Logic Pro X gives your sound crystal clarity, with each channel balanced and faded. I also offer additional services of original music composition, synchronous film-scoring, music mixing, recording real sound effects (Foley) and the creation of artificial sounds (sound design) in line with your production design scheme (more)
